Linden Lab open-sources Second Life client

Linden Lab has released the source code for the Second Life client application under the terms of the GNU General Public License, version 2.0 .

This is great news for Second Life, and really opens up an amazing new set of possibilities for what SL could develop into -- as well as a lot of interesting questions about things like property rights in the digital realm.
