Steve Yegge's JavaScript port of Rails

Man, I've really been buried in work and family stuff -- I totally missed this bit of news.
Apparently when Steve Yegge couldn't convince the good folks at Google to start using Ruby and Rails, he decided to do a JavaScript clone of it , taking advantage of JS's status as one of Google's officially sanctioned languages.
According to this older post by John Lam :
Steve decided to do what any other frustrated programmer would do: he ported Rails to JavaScript. Line by line. In 6 months. Working 2000 hours.
I'll look forward to taking this thing for a test drive if and when it becomes something publicly available.
